1937
No events in Lennon's Days RTF. A portrait survives showing fourteen-year-old Norman with a model airplane — an early signal of the aeronautical interest that will carry him to Harvard two years later to study aeronautical engineering (see 1939).

Context
Lennon’s Days RTF records no specific event for 1937. The ProjectMailer.net Important Dates table includes an entry reading “Family moves to the Eastern Parkway section of Brooklyn” — this may be a second move within the Crown Heights / Eastern Parkway area following the January 1932 Crown Street move, or an imprecise restatement of that earlier move. Left unresolved pending a closer look at the source documents (see backlog.md).
Norman is a sophomore at Boys’ High School. The model airplane in the portrait anticipates the stated ambition — recorded in Lennon’s 1939 entry — to study aeronautical engineering at Harvard.
