Czech-American film director; he cast Mailer as the architect Stanford White in his 1981 film of E. L. Doctorow's Ragtime, filmed in London in 1980.

Milos Forman, the Czech-American director, cast Mailer as the architect Stanford White — murdered early in the story — in his film of E. L. Doctorow‘s Ragtime (1975), shot in London in 1980 (see 80.20, 80.21). Norris Church also had a small role.
