Taki Theodoracopulos is a Greek-born journalist and columnist, a founder of The American Conservative and the publisher of Taki’s Magazine. He counted Mailer a friend; with Scott McConnell he interviewed Mailer in Provincetown for a 2003 cover story in The American Conservative, and returned to that friendship in his June 2026 column The Dumb and Joyful Masses.
