Edwin Fancher

Co-founder and publisher of The Village Voice, launched with Norman Mailer and Daniel Wolf in October 1955. Fancher introduced Mailer's "Quickly" column in the paper on 4 January 1956.

Edwin Fancher co-founded The Village Voice with Mailer and Daniel Wolf and served as its publisher; he introduced Mailer’s “Quickly: A Column for Slow Readers” on 4 January 1956. With Wolf he co-edited The Village Voice Reader (Doubleday, 1962).
