Jason Mosser
Scholar of literary journalism and New Journalism; a recurring contributor to this project. He co-edited (with Gerald R. Lucas) the site's full-text edition of "The White Negro" and wrote the "New Journalism" chapter of Norman Mailer in Context (2021).
Jason Mosser is a Professor of English at Georgia Gwinnett College. He received his BA and MA from West Virginia University and his PhD from the University of Georgia, and he has published extensive scholarship on literary journalism, especially the work of Norman Mailer and Hunter S. Thompson. Within this project he recurs in two capacities: as co-editor, with Gerald R. Lucas, of the annotated full text of “The White Negro” hosted under Works and Days, and as the author of the “New Journalism” chapter in Maggie McKinley’s edited collection Norman Mailer in Context.
