Scott Adlerberg is a crime novelist and critic who lives in Brooklyn. His books include The Screaming Child and Graveyard Love, and his short fiction has appeared in various anthologies; he hosts the Word for Word Reel Talks film-commentary series in Bryant Park, Manhattan. For CrimeReads in June 2026 he published a reconsideration of Mailer’s Tough Guys Don’t Dance and its 1987 film.
