Michael Burks Mailer
Mailer's fifth child and first son — born 17 March 1964 to Beverly Bentley during Mailer's fourth marriage. An American film producer and filmmaker as an adult. The first of two Mailer–Bentley sons (Stephen McLeod Mailer follows in 1966).
Michael Burks Mailer was born on 17 March 1964 to Beverly Bentley (per the published Lennon Days, p. 354) — Mailer’s fifth child after Susan (1949), Danielle (1957), Elizabeth (1959), and Kate (1962), and his first son. The birth comes a little under three months after Mailer’s 29 December 1963 marriage to Beverly at 142 Columbia Heights. Michael grew up between Brooklyn Heights and Provincetown (the latter from June 1966).
In adulthood Michael Burks Mailer has worked as an American film producer and filmmaker, producing or executive-producing several feature films from the 1990s forward.
