Actor; Norman Mailer's daughter with Jeanne Campbell. She played Marilyn Monroe in the 1986 Actors Studio staging of her father's play Strawhead, and acted in Jean-Luc Godard's King Lear (1987).
Kate Mailer, an actor, is Norman Mailer’s daughter with his third wife, Lady Jeanne Campbell. In 1986 she played Marilyn Monroe in the Actors Studio staging of her father’s play Strawhead — the occasion of a Vanity Fair cover, “Mailer’s New Marilyn: It’s His Daughter!” (86.22) — and went on to act in Jean-Luc Godard’s King Lear (1987), a Cannon Films project in which Norman had agreed to appear (86.29).
