Boston book publisher; beginning with Of a Fire on the Moon (1971), the first of eight Mailer titles it would issue, including The Prisoner of Sex (1971).

Little, Brown and Company, the Boston publishing house, became one of Mailer’s principal publishers beginning in 1971. Of a Fire on the Moon (71.1) was, per Lennon, the first of eight Mailer books the firm would publish; The Prisoner of Sex (71.20) followed in May of the same year.
